<p style="text-align: justify;">First of all thank you and your co workers for helping us exploring your beautiful country. It was a revelation to all of us. We, western people can learn a lot of your vision upon life and nature. We had an obligatory stay of five days in New Delhi before we could return home due to the volcano eruption in Iceland! All hotels and food were of excellent quality. The trekking was magnificent, also the stay in the farmhouse, an unforgettable evening and camp fire.</p>

However, our main objective is to pilgrim the mystical Tagtshang, Tiger Nest Neys (holy places and during 7<sup>th</sup> century, our Buddhist great tantrik master, Guru Rinpche (precious Jewell) came here by his miraculous power, flying on the back of flaming tigress in form of Guru Dorje Droloe from Khenpajong (eastern Bhutan) on the way from Tibet, to advocate the Buddhism teaching in Mon-Yul (place of darkness). Therefore, he meditated almost three months and blessed with numerous of Neys (holy site), subdued and activated the evil deities as Buddhism protectors and even the whole locality were also turned into Buddhist. So, people today consider the Paro Tagtshang as one of very hallowed and auspicious place to worship and pilgrim and the blessed Neys (holy site) few can be accessible nevertheless have to hike within rocks, a good example Tagtshang Pelphug, hangs off the face of a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor and Ugyen Tsemo, Bhum Drag and so on and few sites cannot.</p>

From the flight in, weaving through the valley, transfer to <em>Thimphu </em>Valley, where treasures that waits are to be much anticipated. Upon arrival in Thimphu will enjoyed Bhutanese delicious lunch, then will visit Memorial Chorten and will have some <em>&#8216;Kora&#8217;</em> and to  Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, painting school and <em>Zilukha Nunnery</em>. Dinner will be host with one Buddhist scholar, to have talks and chats about Buddhism. <em>(Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu).</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 02: Transfer from Thimphu to Paro valley</strong><br />
After having breakfast, drive to Sangaygang, from here can view the whole capital town and before reaching this viewpoint, will visit Motithang mini-Zoo, here you will see the National animal of Bhutan Takin (Budorcas taxicolor) and probably other too. From viewpoint, hike gently among the pine trees will reach Wangditse Monastery, here will lit some butter lamps and pray for world peace and long lives for sentient beings. Further, gently hike downhill will reach Dechenphodrang Monastery, where Bhutanese young monks get trained for various subjects. Stop for lunch at main town and afternoon stroll while in town and then drive to Paro valley. <em>(overnight: Hotel in Paro)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 03: Trip to the mystical Tagtshang, Tiger Nest</strong><br />
Today, everyone have starts the journey with spiritual spirits and firstly will drive to <em>Kyichu Lhakhang</em>, which also a miracle built monastery by Tibetan King <em>Songtsen Geompo</em> during 8<sup>th</sup> century. Reaching here will light some butter lamps, offer <em>Nyendhar</em> (scarf offering or cash) and prayers for good luck and fortune, then drive to starting point, <em>Ramthangkha</em> and will start journey to hallowed <em>Tagtshang</em>, Tiger nest. It is uphill hike among the pine trees, rhododendrons forest and reaching view point of <em>Tagtshang Pelphug</em> will have refreshment and will continue the journey, little downhill climb within rocky area and will reach the <em>Pelphug</em> Monastery. Here too will light the butter lamps, offer Nyendhar and pray. Of course lunch will be packed. From <em>Pelphug</em> to <em>Ugyen Tsemo</em> monastery is uphill climb/hike. <em>(overnight: Camp at Ugey Tsemo) </em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 04: Accomplish journey of the mystical Tagtshang, Tiger Nest</strong><br />
Every day is new expedition and experience but everything you met are auspicious and holy. After breakfast, visit to <em>Ugyen Tsemo Lhakhang</em> and will hike further to <em>Bhum Drag</em>, where k<em>handoms</em> (Dakinis) offered the numerous of offerings to <em>Guru Rinpoche</em>. Also, here you find the number of holy water sources, holy cliffs. <em>(overnight: Camp at Bhum Drag)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 05: Concluding day of the mystical Tagtshang, Tiger Nest pilgrim </strong><br />
Today is concluding day and usually, we Bhutanese do arrange little religious ceremonies on every last day of pilgrimage, to make last pray from the holy land, seeking pardoning negative thoughts proclaimed during this life and to get blessing for good omen for forthcoming days. The religious ceremonies will be setup in <em>Bhum Drag Zangdhopelri</em> Monastery and monks here will perform the ceremonies us and all the traveler will attend, pray and get blessed. Then hike to<em> Sangchokhor </em>Monastery, the young monks are trained here and other representative of The Bhutan Travel will be waiting for us for receptions. Drive to Paro town, afternoon is free time for leisure and last dinner in Bhutan ends with Bhutanese cultural program. <em>(overnight: Hotel in Paro)</em></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Paro Chumbu Ney </em>(sacred place<em>) </em>is a new gateway pilgrimage package introduced by us for our guests and which is located north-east of Paro Valley. It was blessed and left as a hidden treasure by great master, lotus born Guru Rinpoche and later, late head abbot of Bhutan have discovered this <em>Ney </em> and also have built monastery and placed with the statue of Dorjee Phagmo (Vajra Varahi) standing on air and there are numerous sacred sites to be explore .</p>

Lunch will be packed and tonight campsite will be below Chumbu Monastery. <em>(overnight: Camp below Chumbu Monastery)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 04: Explore the sacred Land of Mystery, Paro Chumbu Ney</strong><br />
Early morning will hike uphill to reach main sacred land of mystery. On the way will meet with very holy and religious sites which will be explained individually. After reaching there, initially will visit the main monastery and will lit the butter lamps, get the blessing and pray for good fortune for forthcoming days for all sentient beings in this universe and one important thing is to get view the statue laying on air, Dorji Pahgmo (Vajra Varahi) in altar room, which is really a amazing and mystery one. Thereafter, will hike little uphill to get view the holy pond (Drupchu) site and will come back for lunch. After lunch, will host some prayer flags and spiritual leader of the monastery will concentrate and all of us will pray for good omens and eject the negative action, then reversed hike downhill to campsite. Reaching camp will be leisure. <em>(overnight: Camp below Chumbu Monastery)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 05: Reversed Journey to Paro Valley</strong><br />
After breakfast, will start reversed hike which will be very gradually one among the dense forest. At ending point, the representative will be waiting for your reception with some refreshment. Lunch will be served in local restaurant in Paro town. Afternoon will visit to National Museum, Paro Dzong and monastery in town and then drive to view point of mystical Tiger Nest, Taktshang monastery and on way, visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, the most sacred and the oldest temples in Bhutan, built in 7<sup>th</sup> century by Tibetan king <em>Songtsen Gampo</em>. <em>(overnight: Hotel in Paro)</em></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 01: International arrival &amp; explore Paro valley</strong><br />
The flight into Paro on our national carrier, <em>Druk Air</em>, (KB) is a befitting introduction to the spectacular beauty of our country. In clear weather, magnificent views of the world&#8217;s highest peaks, give way to the lush green <em>Paro</em> valley as you land. Your Bhutanese escort from The Bhutan Travel will greet you on arrival, and then drive you the short distance to the <em>Paro</em> town for refreshment. After all, we will visit the National Museum, housed in the Ta Dzong (watchtower). Here, an intriguing collection of artifacts provide a wonderful introduction to the rich culture and heritage of the Kingdom. Just a short walk downhill lays the dominating <em>Paro</em> Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese historic architecture. From the Dzong, the tour crosses <em>Nyamai Zampa</em>, a traditional cantilever bridge, and guests are then driven to the town temple, built in 1525, to view ancient wall paintings. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 02: Excursion to Paro Taktsang monastery</strong><br />
Today, we will hike up to <em>Taktshang</em> (Tiger&#8217;s Nest) monastery. It is 2½hour hiking distance from the road end. The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. We stop for a rest and light refreshments at the <em>Taktsang Jakhang</em> (cafeteria) and then, continue our journey to the temple, which was built in 1600s, this incredible monastery clings to the edge of a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900 m into the valley below. Legend has it that <em>Guru Padmasambhava</em>, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan, landed here on the back of a flying tigress. Lunch will be served at the cafeteria. On our way back we will visit <em>Kyichu Lhakhang</em>, It is one of the two most sacred and the oldest temples in Bhutan, built in 7<sup>th</sup> century by Tibetan king <em>Songtsen Gempo</em>. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 03: Transfer from Paro to Wangdue Phodrang</strong><br />
An early departure for a dramatic drive over the high mountain pass of <em>Dochu La</em>, sights on the way include one of Bhutan first fortress the 17th century <em>Simtokha Dzong</em>. The journey continues over the 3,050m mountain pass where on a clear day, towering Himalayan peaks are clearly visible and around the 108 spectacular stupas erected by their majestic Queens of Bhutan which adorn the pass. Stop lunch at Dochula Cafeteria and further drive descent down will reach Wangduephodrang valley and will visit Wangduephodrang Dzong and Radak Naktshang, the village temple<em>. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 04: Drive to the Land of hallowed Hidden Treasures, Bhey Langdrag</strong><br />
After having breakfast, will start drive to the Land of hallowed Hidden Treasures and the road will be little rough but will come across farmland, villages and perhaps will met with local people and will experience the hot bio-diversity on the way. Lunch time will reach Bhey Langdrag. Afternoon will explore some hallowed sites and monasteries. <em>(overnight: Camp at Bhey Langdrag)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 05: Explore the Land of hallowed Hidden Treasures</strong><br />
After having breakfast, day hike to main Langdrag Monastery, which is almost 2-3 hours uphill hike. On reaching in Monastery, will lit some butter lamps and pray for long lives of sentient beings and world peace and harmonies. Here, you will see and get blessing from the hallowed hidden treasures by great master, lotus born, Guru Rinpoche and other miracle signs, prints left on rock. Lunch will be packed and will reversed hike downhill till you reach campsite. In evening, if someone is interested, stroll Bhey Langdrag farm houses and leisure. <em>(overnight: Camp at Bhey Langdrag)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 06: Reversed Journey from Bhey Lhangdrag to Punakha valley</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Usually, we Bhutanese do arrange little religious ceremonies on every last day of pilgrimage, to make last pray from holy land, seeking pardoning negative thoughts proclaimed during this trip and getting blessing for good omen for forthcoming days. The religious ceremonies will be setup in one of the Zangdhopelri Monastery of the valley, or perhaps outside nearby sacred site and few Bhutanese monks will perform the ceremonies.<br />
After breakfast, will attend to last day religious ceremonies till lunch and then will reversed drive to Punakha valley, olden capital of Bhutan. <em>(overnight: Hotel in Punakha)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 07: Transfer from Punakha to Capital Town, Thimphu valley</strong><br />
After checking out from hotel will visit Punakha Dzong, olden capital of Bhutan built in 1639 by our spiritual leader Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. Which, today served as winter residence of Central Monastic Bodies including Je Khenpo, chief abbot and offices for local district level government, on way back, visit to Kuruthang Zangdhopelri built by Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji and family, a father of four Queens. Before reaching Lobesa town, hike to auspicious fertility monastery, Chimi Lhakhang built by Divine madman, Lam Drukpa Kinley. Lunch time will reached capital town, Thimphu. Afternoon, will do some local sightseeing, visiting museums, handicrafts emporium and so on. Dinner will be with Bhutanese cultural program. <em>(overnight: Hotel in Thimphu)</em></p>

Today after board the Druk Air flight, if the weather is clear one can get a fantastic view of Mount Kangchenjunga, Mount Everest (the world&#8217;s highest peak) and Mount Jhomolhari, Bhutan&#8217;s sacred mountain.  Upon arrival at Paro, our representatives will meet you at the airport and after completing formalities, will drive to main town for refreshment and after all, there is an opportunity for a quick stroll to the nearby ruins, a visit to some of the valley&#8217;s oldest and holiest religious monuments or a ramble down Paro&#8217;s main street. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 02: Transfer from Paro to Haa valley</strong><br />
After breakfast drive to Haa valley via Chelela. The drive is a gentle uphill through forests of blue pine, fir oak and rhododendron till the Chelela Pass. The pass at an elevation of 3900 m. provides a panoramic view of the northern and western Himalayan mountain ranges as well as Haa and Paro Valleys. On reaching here, will have some religious ceremonies for guidance seeking from local deities and to have good fortunes for expeditions and entire journey in Bhutan. Explore the Chelela Pass area for orchids and alpine flowers. After picnic lunch at the pass, walk down towards Haa Valley through the ancient trail looking for orchids. Haa is western-most valley in Bhutan on the Tibet region of China. The valley is traversed by the Haa Chu (river) and its characteristic features are the three almost conical shaped hillocks considered to be holy by the local people &#8211; the hillock is dedicated to Ap Chhundu, the supreme local protective deity of Haa. Visit to orchid green house maintained by Garden and drive back to main town for lunch, after lunch visit Textile Museum, Traditional Medicine Institue and clinic, on the way from, visit to Arts and Crafts School, Folk Heritage mesuem and then National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved. After breakfast, drive to <em>Kamichu</em> for another famous site for orchids expeditions. On the way, visit <em>Punakha Dzong</em>, which is located between two rivers, usually called <em>Pho Chu</em> and <em>Mo Chu</em> (Male and Female River). This Dzong served as administrative offices for district level and winter residence for Central Monastic bodies including <em>Je Khenpo,</em> (Chief Abbot) and was built in 1638 by our spiritual leader Zhabdrung Nagwang Namgyel. The Kamichu area has a wide variety of orchids and explore till dusk. <em>(overnight: Camp Kamichu)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 08: Transfer from Kamichu to Phobjikha valley</strong><br />
After an early breakfast, drive to Phobjekha Valley. En route take side trips into the forests around Nobding area for orchids. This is a full day programme. Arrive Phobjekha valley in the evening for overnight at local guest house. Evening: embark on a one hour nature walk starting from Gangtey Gonpa hill to the main Phobjikha valley followed by visit to a farm house for local hospitality. Phobjikha valley is one of the roosting grounds of the Black Necked Cranes (grus nigri collis) that  in migrate each year in winter from its northern habitats in Tibet and Siberia to these grounds. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 09: Transfer Phobjikha  to  Trongsa valley</strong><br />
Today will drive to Trongsa, part of central Bhutan. Afterwards visit the Trongsa Dzong, ancestral home of the Royal Family. Built in 1648 A.D. by Chogyal Minjur Tempa, the third Druk Desi (&#8216;Desi&#8217; means Temporal ruler), it is presently the administrative seat of the district and the home of the monastic school. Trongsa Dzong represents Bhutan&#8217;s link with its historical monarchy. This is the investiture site for future Kings ascending the Golden Throne of Bhutan. You can see its remarkable succession of street-like corridors, wide stone stairs and beautiful stone court-yards. Also it represents the very best opportunity to capture the true essence of Bhutanese monastic and parliamentary architecture. Here, 25 lhakhangs (small temples, among which is one of the oldest Lhakhangs in Bhutan &#8211; the Chorten Lhakhang, built by Yongzin Ngagi Wangchuk 1543 A.D) house sacred images and relics. Intricate wood carvings and beautiful frescos are emblazoned on the walls and pillars. Visit the watch tower, located directly above the Dzong. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 10: Transfer from Trongsa to Zhemgang valley</strong><br />
The drive from Trongsa to Zhemgang will take through subtropical areas with thick jungles. This route has one of the richest forests and has many varieties of tree orchids and other botanical plants. The district of Zhemgang was opened to tourist only in 2002 and this valley is very rich for producing bamboo products. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 11: Explore Zhemgang valley</strong><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 12: Transfer from Zhemgang to Bumthang valley</strong><br />
Today will drive further to Bumthang valley, which the holiest and beautiful valley in Bhutan and have to travel in car almost 7/8 hours. After breakfast visit the historic Jakar Dzong built in 1646 A.D. which now houses the district Administration office as well as the monk body. Also visit to some holiest and sacred monasteries like Jampay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Kenchosum Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, Thangbi lhakhang and visit Lodrag Kharchu Monastery to get blessing and pray for long lives of living beings in this universe. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 14: Day excursion to Ura valley </strong><br />

After having breakfast will continue our reversed journey for tomorrow&#8217;s international departure from Paro. On the way, visit to auspicious fertility monastery, <em>Chimi Lhakhang</em>.  Drive to Thimphu for lunch and shopping. Afternoon drive to Paro, en route visit Simtokha Dzong. The Trail goes as high as 3,800m above the sea level and it is very wonderful and a very popular trek in Bhutan. Of course, this trek way can be also shorter duration, if there causes any unfavorable circumstances. The trek is moderate and demanding one. En-route, on clear weather, views of the Himalayas are breathtaking, the sceneries are beautiful and fantastic, monasteries, lakes, the rhododendron and high altitude wild flowers and many more makes the trekking very interesting and memorial in one&#8217;s life time. The best months to this trek are from March till July and September till November.</p>

After all, we will visit the National Museum, housed in the <em>Ta Dzong</em> (watchtower). Just a short walk downhill lays the dominating <em>Paro</em> Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese historic architecture. Today we will hike up to <em>Taktshang </em>(Tiger&#8217;s Nest) monastery. We have to walk about 2½ hours from the road end. The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. We stop for a rest and light refreshments at the <em>Taktsang Jakhang</em> (cafeteria) and then we continue our journey to the temple. Built in the 1600s, this incredible monastery clings to the edge of a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900 m into the valley below. Legend has it that <em>Guru Padmasambhava</em>, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan, landed here on the back of a flying tigress. Lunch will be served at the cafeteria. On our way back we will visit <em>Kyichu Lhakhang</em>, It is one of the two most sacred and the oldest temples in Bhutan, built in 7<sup>th</sup> century by Tibetan king <em>Songtsen Gempo</em>. <em>(overnight: Hotel in Paro)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day: 03 Paro to Jili Dzong (trek starts)</strong> (Distance: <strong>10kms;</strong> Duration: <strong> 3 &#8211; 4 hours)</strong><br />
We drive to the end of the road above the museum, here is the starting point of trek and will have little religious ceremonies to have good luck and guidance seeking from the local deties to have very enjoyable trek. The trail winds though beautiful apple orchard before entering the forests. Once, we get into the jugle, here you will really experiences and see the diversity of the Himalayan ecosystem. You will continue to climb higher until you reach Jili Dzong, a small fortress. <em>(overnight: Camp at Jili Dzong, 3,350 meters above sea level)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day: 04 Jili Dzong to Jimi Langtsho (</strong>Distance: <strong>12kms;</strong> Duration: <strong>4 &#8211; 5 hours)</strong><br />
Today, perhaps will be little tougher day of the trek, since you will be walking 11 miles at an average altitude of 10,000&#8242;. The trail climbs up and down a series of ridges and is fairly rough at points with deep ruts and rocks. One has to watch where one steps. Gradually climbing above tree line and by late afternoon, you will reach the alpine lake of Jimi Langtso, the word <em>&#8220;tsho&#8221; </em>lake/pond and this pond is rich in fishes. <em>(overnight: Camp at Jimi Langtsho, </em>3,700meters above sea level)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day: 05 Jimi Langtsho to Phajoding (</strong>Distance <strong>16kms;</strong> Duration:  <strong>6-7 hours)</strong><br />
Today, a total of 10 miles will be trekked at an average altitude of 11, 500&#8242;. For the first 2-3 hours out of the camp, the trails ascend until you reach a small pass marked with white prayer flags. Winding through dwarf rhododendrons trees and small pines, past lakes of Simkota and Janetsho, this is the highest point of your trek and if the weather permits, one can get great views of the Bhutanese Himalayas. After the pass, the trail descends to the monastic centre of Phajoding, a state run institute and active centre for Buddhist mediation and retreat. It may also be possible to visit a few of the numerous monasteries and also our campsite will be nearby monasteries. <em>(Overnight: Camp at Phajoding, 3,800meters above sea level)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day: 06 Phajoding to Thimphu (Trek ends)</strong><br />
Today, will be downhill walking thorough beautiful pine and rhododendron forest. Thimphu can be reached by early afternoon, where a hot shower awaits you. Afternoons can be exploring capital city of Bhutan.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 07: Transfer from Thimphu  to Paro via Haa Valley.</strong><br />
This valley was recently opened to visitors and remains one of Bhutan&#8217;s most pristine regions. At the Chuzom confluence, the road ascends the dramatic Wang Chu valley where there is time to view the Dobji Dzong and, if time permits, hike around its high ramparts. The road into Haa winds up through quaint villages and thick conifer forests before leading into a valley carpeted with fields of millet, barley, potato and wheat. The patchwork fields are dotted with farmhouses all adorned with intricately painted cornices and door and window frames. Visits to both Chhundu Lhakhang and Lhakhang Karpo provide an insight into the history of the valley. There are arrangements to see the Wangchulo Dzong as well. The winding road then ascends through pastureland past grazing yaks, before reaching the 3,900m Cheli La pass. Descending into the Paro Valley, the scenery transforms from sub-Alpine pasture brilliant with wild mountain flowers, to lush forests of blue pine, cypress, larch, fir and rhododendron. Legend has it that <em>Guru Padmasambhava</em>, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan, landed here on the back of a flying tigress. Lunch will be served at the cafeteria. Short descend will reach <em>Drukgyel Dzong</em>, where the trek ends and the representative of The Bhutan Travel will be waiting for reception. Then, drive to main <em>Paro</em> town for lunch.  In afternoon drive toward capital city, <em>Thimphu</em>, upon arrival your room will be located and rest till Dinner with Bhutanese cultural program. <em>(overnight: Hotel in Thimphu)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 08: Transfer from Thimphu &#8211; Wangduephodrang valley.</strong><br />
The day begins with a visit to the National Memorial Chorten built in honour of our late third King <em>Jigme Dorji Wangchuk</em> (father of modern Bhutan) and the <em>Dupthop Lhakhang</em> one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan. Then drive to the view point of <em>Tashichho Dzong</em>, seat of the national government and summer residence of Central Monastic Body, including <em>Je Khenpo</em> (Chief Abbot of Bhutan). Stop while for lunch in the town. After lunch we will be visiting the Painting School where traditional art is still kept alive through instructions in the art of painting <em>Thangkas</em> (sacred Buddhist religious scrolls), visit to Folk Heritage museum, National Library House, textile museum and finally visit the Handicrafts Emporium and by late afternoon, drive to <em>Wangduephodrang</em> over <em>Dochula </em>pass (3150m), here you will meet with 108 stupas, <em>Druk Wangyel </em>Monastery and further down will reach <em>Wangduephodrang </em>valley. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 09: Transfer from Wangduephodrang to Paro via Punakha valley.</strong><br />
Morning visit to the <em>Wangdiphodrang Dzong</em> and <em>Radak Naktshang</em>, the village monastery and then drive to <em>Punakha</em> valley, visit the <em>Punakha Dzong</em>, the ancient capital of Bhutan built in 1637 and today, it serve as district administrative offices and winter residence for Central Monastic Body. On the way to capital city, visit Chimi Lhakhang, the auspicious fertility monastery built in 1499. Before reaching Capital city, stop at Dochula cafeteria for lunch. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">The <em>Nabji</em> <em>Korphu</em> trek is an ideal post-harvest/winter trekking open from October up to the end of March and duration of five nights and six days. The trail is set out in <em>Jigme</em><em> Singye  Wangchuck National Park</em>, a park with an ecological rich environment.  The trek starts from Riotala (1060m) and final destination Tongtongphey (1061m). It is very possible to see the Golden Langur (Trachypithecus geei), the rarest primates, which can only be found in Bhutan and also home to the endangered Rufous-necked Hornbill (Aceros nepalensis) and also a superb place for birding and has a wide variety of plants and flowers. The last two days of the trek will go through the homeland of the <em>Monpa</em> people, small traditional village community which are scattered on the slope overlooking <em>Mangde Chhu</em>. <em>Monpas</em> are thought to be the first settlers in Bhutan and Mangde Chhu valley representing one of the earliest areas of settlement in Bhutan.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 01: International arrival and drive to capital city, Thimphu</strong><br />
From the flight in, weaving through the valley, transfer to <em>Thimphu</em><em> </em>Valley, where treasures that awaits are to be much anticipated. Upon arrival in Thimphu will enjoyed Bhutanese delicious lunch, then will visit Memorial Chorten and will have some <em>&#8216;Kora&#8217;</em> and to  Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, painting school and <em>Zilukha Nunnery</em>.  <em>(Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu).</em></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 02:  Transfer from Thimphu to Trongsa.</strong><br />
An early departure for a dramatic drive over the high mountain pass of <em>Dochu La</em>, sights on the way include one of Bhutan&#8217;s first fortress, the 17th century <em>Simtokha Dzong</em>. The journey continues over the 3,050m mountain pass where on a clear day, towering Himalayan peaks are clearly visible. The descent down thru the Wangduephodrang along the Kingdom&#8217;s only east-west highway and stop while for lunch at Wangduephodrang. Further continues on through the scenic village of Wangduephodrang and carrying on the highway follows the scenic Dang Chhu before climbing thru forests of bamboo and oak, and just before crossing the <em>Pele La</em> (3,400m) pass, a small side road splinters off to the hidden Phobjika Valley. Drive across the <em>Pelela</em><em> Pass</em> through the <em>Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park</em>, which divide western and central Bhutan. Cross the <em>Nikka</em><em> Chu</em> Bridge to enter the heavily cultivated <em>Trongsa</em> regions in central Bhutan. Beside the stream, is the great white stupa, the <em>Chendebji Chorten</em> built in 19th century in Nepalese design, stands below the road as testimony to the subjugation of a demon by the <em>Lam Shida</em>.  Stop for tea break and further proceed towards <em>Trongsa</em> (2,200m), the ancestral home of the Royal Family of Bhutan. <em>(Overnight: Hotel at Trongsa)</em></p>

Morning, visit local monastery for to pray and then, will through broadleaf forest, with possible see Golden Langur and Rufous-necked Hornbill and will come across terraced fields of rice and the Monastery of Nabji, which means &#8216;oath&#8217; harbors the stone pillar to mark the peace between Bumthang and Assam Kings. In the village you can find rock remains of a blacksmith (one of the reincarnations of Pema Lingpa). Today, will day hike to Korphu village (1636m), which will be about 4hours hike and at reaching Korphu, firstly, visit Korphu Monastery, mostly inside are sacred relics of Pema Lingpa. Then visit to village and houses, which is really will be experiencing the true lifespan of farmer in Bhutan and return to our campsite and leisure. <em>(overnight: Camp at Nabji, 1,300 meters above sea level)</em></p>

Today will trek though the dense forest, big tree with clippers, small bamboos and will meet with some wild Orchids. Reaching Kubdra village, <em>Monpa,</em> people in this village community will be very pleased us and they will warmly welcome us to our campsite. <em>(overnight: Camp at Kubdra, 1,636 meters above sea level)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 08 Kubdra &#8211; Jangbi village</strong><br />
Today will be very auspicious day for all of us, since we are getting opportunity to get visit to one of hidden Ney (sacred place) of Guru Rimpoche, here will find the foot print, dragger and Hat of Guru Rinphoche in the Monastery and we Buddhist believe that Guru Rinpoche is second lord Buddha of this universe. Also we will experience the Monpa People and their Cane and Bamboo works. <em>(overnight: Camp at Jangbi, 1,368 meters above sea level)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 09: Jangbi &#8211; Tongtongfey-Trongsa</strong> (Distance: <strong>10kms;</strong> Duration: <strong>3-4hours trek)</strong><br />
Today is the last of Nabji Korphu trek. Reaching Tongtonfey ends our trek and will met the other representative of The Bhutan Travel, who are waiting for your reception. Then our next stop will be at Dochula for tea break. Further downhill drive reaches capital city, Thimphu and check in to hotel. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 11: Transfer from Thimphu  to Paro via Haa Valley.</strong><br />
This valley was recently opened to visitors and remains one of Bhutan&#8217;s most pristine regions. At the Chuzom confluence, the road ascends the dramatic Wang Chu valley where there is time to view the Dobji Dzong and, if time permits, hike around its high ramparts. The road into Haa winds up through quaint villages and thick conifer forests before leading into a valley carpeted with fields of millet, barley, potato and wheat. The patchwork fields are dotted with farmhouses all adorned with intricately painted cornices and door and window frames. Visits to both Chhundu Lhakhang and Lhakhang Karpo provide an insight into the history of the valley. There are arrangements to see the Wangchulo Dzong as well. The winding road then ascends through pastureland past grazing yaks, before reaching the 3,900m Cheli La pass. Descending into the Paro Valley, the scenery transforms from sub-Alpine pasture brilliant with wild mountain flowers, to lush forests of blue pine, cypress, larch, fir and rhododendron. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">This trek is hard and demanding one, however it is truly rewarding and worth doing it and it is 12 days and 11 nights of duration. The trek will take you to the beautiful landscapes of Bhutan, unique and traditionally rich villages, passing through the nomadic yak herder&#8217;s campsites, the fantastic views of the Himalayan Mountains, memorable camping at the base of mountain Jhomolhari (the goddess of mountains). It attains a maximum altitude of 4890m above sea level. The trek starts from Drukgyel Dzong (Paro) and ends at Thimphu. Some trekkers, trek till base camp and retun to Drukgyel Dzong via same route and the best to do this trek are March till May and September till November.</p>
<h3>Detailed Itinerary:</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 01      International arrival &amp; explore Paro valley</strong><br />
The flight into Paro on our national carrier, <em>Druk Air</em>, (KB) is a befitting introduction to the spectacular beauty of our country. In clear weather, magnificent views of the world&#8217;s highest peaks, give way to the lush green <em>Paro</em> valley as you land. Your Bhutanese escort from The Bhutan Travel will greet you on arrival, and then drive you the short distance to the <em>Paro</em> town for refreshment. After all, we will visit the National Museum, housed in the Ta Dzong (watchtower). Here, an intriguing collection of artifacts provide a wonderful introduction to the rich culture and heritage of the Kingdom. Just a short walk downhill lays the dominating <em>Paro</em> Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese historic architecture. From the Dzong, the tour crosses <em>Nyamai Zampa</em>, a traditional cantilever bridge, and guests are then driven to the town temple, built in 1525, to view ancient wall paintings. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 04: Shana &#8211; Thangthangka (</strong>Distance: <strong>21kms</strong>, Duration: <strong>7-8 hours trek)</strong><br />
The trail follows the river through a heavily forested area with a few isolated farmhouses.  It narrows and closes in and the trail winds up and down along the drainage. We pass a junction en-route, where another path leads north over the <em>Tremo La</em> to Tibet. Camp is in a meadow with a stone shelter. <em>(overnight: Camp at Thangthagka, 3610 meters above sea level)</em>.</p>

We will continue the <em>Pa Chhu</em> River and after passing a small army post, the trail slowly leaves the forest line and gradually climbs into a beautiful valley, passing <em>Tegethang</em>, a winter home of yak herdsmen. Lunch will be served in one of these huts.  Lots of yaks will be seen today before we arrive at the <em>Jhomolhari </em>base camp (4,115 m). High mountains overlook the camp and visible nearby are the ruins of an old fortress used to guard Bhutan against Tibetan invasions.  <em>(overnight: Camp at Jangothang, 4,115 meters above sea level).</em></p>

After this pass, we descend to a circular hut just below <em>Lingshi</em>, where we camp. The day begins with a visit to the National Memorial Chorten built in honour of our late third King <em>Jigme Dorji Wangchuk</em> and the <em>Dupthop Lhakhang,</em> one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan. We then drive to the view point of <em>Tashichho Dzong</em>, seat of the national government and summer residence of the Central Monastic Body, including <em>Je Khenpo</em> (Chief Abbot of Bhutan) and visit to National Library House, Folk Heritage museum and Painting School, where traditional art is still kept alive through instructions in the art of painting <em>Thangkas</em> (sacred Buddhist religious scrolls). Stop for lunch, and there after visit to Bhutanese Paper factory, weaving center, textile museums and then to Handicrafts Emporium and shopping for souvenirs in the shops of <em>Thimphu</em>. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">The Gangtay trek is one of the easiest and finest low elevations trek in Bhutan. It starts from Phobjikha  Valley at 300m and ends in Tiki Zampa (Wangduephodrang), which cover visiting several remote villages. The Phobjikha valley is a glacial valley and is the winter home of the black necked cranes. This valley is a designated for conservation area and borders Black Mountain  National Park. The valley is one of the beautiful valleys in Bhutan. On the way, will be visiting the villages of Gogona and Khotoka through the fields and forests of juniper, magnolia and rhododendron. It is 2 nights and 3 days trek. It is especially beautiful in April and May, however, the best month are March till June and September till November.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Detailed itinerary:</strong></h3>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 01: International arrival and transfer to capital city, Thimphu.</strong><br />
Our Guests will be received at the <em>Paro</em> International Airport by The Bhutan Travel&#8217;s representatives, and will drive into Paro town for refreshment and after that will visit the National  Museum<em>,</em> housed in the <em>Ta Dzong</em> (watchtower). Here, an intriguing collection of artifacts provide a wonderful introduction to the rich culture and heritage of the Kingdom. Just a short walk downhill lays the dominating <em>Paro Dzong</em>, a fine example of Bhutanese historic architecture. From the <em>Dzong</em>, the tour crosses <em>Nyamai Zampa,</em> a traditional cantilever bridge, and guests are then driven to the town temple, built in 1525, to view ancient wall paintings. Then drive to Capital town, Thimphu <em>(overnight: Hotel in Paro)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 02: Explore Thimphu valley (capital city of Bhutan)</strong><br />
After breakfast, drive to <em>Sangaygany</em><strong>, </strong>BBS tower affords magnificent views across the <em>Thimphu</em> Valley and on the way visit <em>Mothithang</em> Mini-Zoo, to see the <em>Takin</em>, the National animal of Bhutan and then will hike to <em>Wangditshe,</em> (1hr. 30minutes) and hike ends at <em>Dechenphodrang</em> Monastery, then drive toward <em>Drupthop Lhakhang</em><strong>, </strong>a nunnery. Luch at hotel at local restaurant, after lunch visit Folk Heritage Mesuem, Painting School, National Library and then drive Weaving Center, <em>Changzamtog.</em> On the way to Weaving Center, visit to Bhutanese Handmade Paper factory. During evening time, visit Handicraft Emporium and Textile Museum and further stroll around the <em>Thimphu</em> town. If our guests have sufficient time, perhaps we will visit Thimphu Fortress, which is today used as offices for National government and summer residence of Central Monastic body including, <em>Je Khenpo</em>, (chief abbot). <em>(overnight: Hotel in Thimphu)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 03: Thimphu &#8211; Gangtay (Phobjikha)</strong><br />
Today we will drive to <em>Gangtay (Phobjikha </em>valley<em>)</em> on reaching <em>Dochula </em>(3,100m), an pass located between <em>Thimphu</em> and <em>Punakha</em>, If the weather is clear, can see in the distant, the beautiful eastern Himalayan Mountain ranges bordering in the north. Also, it is home to many species of wild Rhododendrons and other species of flowers. Here are 108 <em>stupas</em> were recently built by their majesties Queens of Bhutan, which really beautified the pass. After having done the circumambulation <em>stupas,</em> further our journey to <em>Gangtey</em> will be continue. We will stop lunch at <em>Wangduephodrang</em> and after having lunch visit to <em>Wangduephodrang Fortress</em> and <em>Radak Naktshang,</em> the village temple. Carrying on the highway follows the scenic <em>Dang Chhu</em> before climbing thru forests of bamboo and oak, and just before crossing the <em>Pele La</em><strong> </strong>pass, a small side road splinters off to the hidden <em>Phobjika </em>Valley<strong>.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 04: Phobjikha to Gogona (trek starts) (</strong>Distance: <strong>15kms, </strong>Duration: <strong>6-7 hours trek)</strong><br />
Today, after having early break fast we will visit to <em>Gangtey Gonpa</em> Monastery to have blessings and will lit the butter lamp, drink the holy water from altar and will pray for good luck and guidance from local deities for to have successful trip. Then drive to start and will start trek. The trek leaves the valley at 2830km and leads south, then west through meadows and fields. It then climbs through a mixed forest of juniper, bamboo, rhododendrons and magnolia. The trail is rough and rocky and weaves through trees where pack animals have created deep muddy furrows. After crossing <em>Tsele La</em> (3440m) the trail crosses several meadows, and then descends through forests to <em>Gangak</em> (3020m). It is then a short climb to the camp at <em>Gogona</em> (3100m), a beautiful hilltop site overlooking a long valley. Nearby is <em>Gogona Lhakhang</em> and dozens of poles with white prayer flags fluttering. A 30-minute walk beyond <em>Gogona</em> is a hamlet where you may find homemade arra to buy. The women here weave blankets and speak a different dialect called <em>Bjop-kha</em> (language of the nomads). <em>(overnight: Camp at Gogona)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 05: Gogona to Khothangkha (</strong>Distance: <strong>16kms, </strong>Duration: <strong>6-7 hours trek)</strong><br />
The trail winds gently up above <em>Gogona</em> village, past flocks of sheep and ploughed fields. Climb into a forest of firs, oak, spruce, dwarf rhododendron, miniature azaleas, cypress and juniper. A large area of this forest was burned by a fire, which was probably caused by lightning. Much of the undergrowth is daphne, the plant that is used for hand-made paper and may be identified by its yellow flowers. Further gradual climbs leads to <em>Shobju La</em> (3,410m). The trail down from the past is rocky and muddy, weaving through the forest and criss- crossing a small stream. Above the trail, a small coal mine and the camp used by the minors. Eventually, at about 3,000m, the trail needs a rough trek used by tractors to collect wood from the forest. Follow the road, with a few short cuts through the woods, to sawmill and woodcutters&#8217; camp at <em>Dolonaga </em>(2,830m). Still heading down, the trail over looks the boat <em>Khothangkha</em> valley eventually which is a clearing, <em>Chorten Karpo</em>, where there are four <em>Chortens</em> dedicated to the four <em>Je-Khenpo,</em> who came from this area. Three of the <em>Chortens </em>are square, in Bhutanese style, and the fourth is Nepali style. The best camp is in this clearing at 2,790m, beside a forest of a large blue pines over looking the valley and the village  of <em>Khothangkha</em>, comprising about 60 rustic houses.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 06: Khothangkha to Tikke Zampa (trek ends) (</strong>Distance: <strong>12kms, </strong>Duration: <strong>5 hours trek) </strong><br />
A short, steep climb along a well-known path takes you to <em>Tashi La</em> (2,800m). This is the upper terminus of the cable car that transports wood down to <em>Chhuzomsa</em>, 1,300m below. If you send a message ahead, you can ride the cable car down, but note that, &#8216;The Passenger who travels by <em>Tashi La</em> rope way will be at own risks&#8217;. Further step down through a beautiful forest, with the undergrowth changing from rhododendrons and magnolia to ferns and dwarf bamboo. Experts claim that this stretch of trail is one of the finest bird-watching areas in Bhutan. Among the species found here are laughing thrush, shrike, magpie and woodpecker. The trail plunges down past steep terraced wheat fields to a cluster of houses at <em>Whachay</em>. The trail eventually meets the road near <em>Tikke Zampa</em>, 1,500m. Keep your ears open for the whistle of loggers above you, which are to warn you to watch for the huge logs that they are sliding down the hillside. Drive to Punkha <em>(overnight: Hotel in Punkha)</em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Day 07: Reversed Journey to Paro valley.</strong><br />
Today will be reversed journey to <em>Paro </em>valley, which is lengthy drive, but the treasures that wait are to be much anticipated. After breakfast, visit to impressive <em>Punakha Dzong</em>, the winter residence of the monastic order&#8217;s head, with numerous alter rooms and grand courtyards to be explored and then will start our journey back to <em>Paro</em>. On the way, visit <em>Chimi Lhakhang</em>, the auspicious fertility monastery built in 1499. Further drive will reach Dochula, stop for lunch and rest for while and will continue to journey to Paro valley.</p>
