Tour costs cancellation policy
If our guests cancel their trip to Bhutan after confirmation, they are subject to the following cancellation charges:
- Prior to 21 days before the arrival date to Bhutan – No charges
- Within 21 days before the arrival date to Bhutan – 10% of daily rate.
- Within 14 days before the arrival date to Bhutan – 15% of daily rate.
- Within 07 days before the arrival date to Bhutan – 30 % of daily rate.
- Within 04 days before the arrival date in Bhutan – 50 % of daily rate.
- Less than 03 days or without notice – 100% of daily rate.
- After arrival in Bhutan – 100%.
In addition, an administrative fee of US$ 50 will be applicable once a visa has been issued.
Flight ticket (KB) Royal Bhutan Airline cancellation policy
- In peak season (February – May & August- December), 100% airfare refund will be permitted if the air ticket is cancelled at least 31 days prior to the date of travel. A 50% refund will be permitted only for air tickets cancelled 30 days to a week prior to the day of travel with an administrative fee of US$ 25. No-refund will be given for air tickets cancelled within the 7 days prior to the day of travel.
- In low season (January, June & July), 100% airfare refund will be permitted if the air ticket is cancelled at least 10 days prior to the day of travel with administrative fee of US$ 25. A 50% airfare refund will be permitted if the air ticket is cancelled 9 days to 72 hours prior to the time of travel; no-refund will be permitted after that.
Delayed in arrival or departure
- There is no charge for delays in arrival and departure due to natural calamities due to bad weather such as disrupted flights, roadblocks, and so on. However, guests must bear the cost of meals, accommodation, transportation, and other services required during the stay.
